Ottawa Senators forward Jason Spezza will undergo back surgery, according to Nick Kypreos.The Senators are expected to update the situation later today.
Spezza has missed the last two games after being injured in Sunday's loss to the Penguins.
On the season, he has recorded two goals and three assists in five games.
