Red Wings' Ian White out 2-3 weeks

The Detroit Red Wings will be without defenseman Ian White for the next 2-3 weeks after cutting his leg in last night's game against the Dallas Stars, according to Ted Kulfan.

White joins Jonathan Ericsson, Jakub Kindl and Carlo Colaiacovo as defenseman already out for Detroit.

Last season, White played in 77 games for the Red Wings, scoring seven goals and adding 25 assists.
