Report: Kings' D Matt Greene out for season

According to the LA Times, the Los Angeles Kings have likely lost defenceman Matt Greene for the remainder of the NHL season due to a back injury. 

Greene suffered the injury during the Kings 5-2 opening night loss to the Chicago Blackhawks. An alternate captain with the Kings, Greene has played 8 NHL seasons with Los Angeles and Edmonton, playing 462 games.

The Kings Have recalled defenseman Andrew Bodnarchuk from the Manchester Monarchs of the AHL.
