IOC strips Armstrong of Olympic Bronze

The International Olympic Committee has stripped Lance Armstrong of his Bronze medal from the 2000 Sydney Olympics due to the recent doping scandal.
IOC spokesman Mark Adams:
"Having had confirmation from UCI that Armstrong has not appealed the decision to disqualify him from Sydney, we have written to him to ask for the return of the bronze medal."
Armstrong, who won the Tour de France a record seven times, talked with Oprah about his use of performance-enhancing drugs on Monday. The interview can be seen tonight at 9 PM ET.
