Raonic advances to third round in Australia

Canadian Milos Raonic defeated Lukas Rosol of the Czech Republic in a second round matchup at the Australian Open on Thursday, setting up a third round match against 17th-seeded Philipp Kohlschreiber on Sunday.

Raonic, the tournament's 13th seed, beat Rosol in straight sets 7-6 (7-2), 6-2, 6-3. The Thornhill, Ontario native fired 18 aces in dispatching his Czech counterpart in less than two hours.
