Dave Nonis named next GM of Leafs

Dave Nonis is expected to be announced as the next General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, according to Bob McKenzie.

It's still unclear if the role will be on an interim basis or not.

Nonis replaced Brian Burke as the Vancouver Canucks GM in 2004. On December 4, 2008, Nonis was named Senior Vice President of the Leafs and on January 9th, 2009, was named assistant GM.
