Anderson Varejao out 6-8 weeks

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Anderson Varejao will miss 6-8 weeks after undergoing surgery to fix a torn quad muscle. Varejao was injured in the Cavs' game against the Toronto Raptors on December 18th, and was originally disagnosed with a knee contusion. However, an MRI revealed that the injury was actually a "split in the vastus medialis." Tyler Zeller and Tristan Thompson are expected to fill the gap left by Varajao's absence.
In 25 games this season, Varejao has averaged 14.1 points, 14.4 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game.
