Report: Bucks, Scott Skiles part ways
The Milwaukee Bucks and head coach Scott Skiles have reportedly agreed to part ways effective immediately, according to Sam Amick of USA Today.
The Bucks are currently mired in a four game losing streak with the last two losses -- to the Rockets and Pacers, respectively -- coming by margins of over 10 points. Despite the slump, the team holds a 16-16 record and currently sits seventh in the Eastern Conference.
Skiles took over the Bucks in 2008-09, posting a record of 162-182, with one playoff appearance in 2009-10, leading to a first round exit. He has a record of 443-433 in 13 seasons with prior stops in Phoenix and Chicago.
Milwaukee has given the interim coach title to assistant coach Jim Boylan, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. The team has yet to officially announce Skiles' departure.
