London, England (Sports Network) - The Football Association announced Thursday that West Ham striker Carlton Cole and Everton midfielder Darron Gibson have had their red cards overturned.
The two players were sent off for similar offenses in their meeting at Upton Park on Saturday. Cole was dismissed for a high boot in the 67th minute while Gibson was given his marching orders in stoppage time.
