Steve Nash could return on Christmas

According to a tweet from Mike Trudell, Los Angeles Lakers' point guard Steve Nash practiced today and consensus is that he could return for the teams' Christmas Day game against the New York Knicks. Nash has been out since the second game of the regular season with a non-displaced fracture in his left leg and was later found to have nerve damage. Nash was a major acquisition for the Lakers this past off-season after spurning both the New York Knicks and the Toronto Raptors.
In 62 games last season, Nash averaged 12.5 points, 10.7 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game in his last season with the Phoenix Suns.
