Anthony out for Knicks vs. Lin showdown

Carmelo Anthony has been ruled out of tonight's game against Jeremy Lin and the Houston Rockets after he was unable to take part in shootaround.

Anthony still has pain in the sprained left ankle he suffered last week, according to ESPN.

Anthony has averaged 27.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per game in 20 games for the Eastern Conference leading Knicks.

Tonight's game will mark Lin's first trip to Madison Square Garden since signing with Houston.
