Report: Ichiro, Yankees close to deal

The New York Yankees and outfielder Ichiro Suzuki are close to deal, according to Jon Heyman.

The two sides have been reportedly close to an agreementl this week, but multiple reports state the two sides are just finishing the structure of the deal.

After joining the Yankees last season, Ichiro had a .322/.340/.454 line in 67 games. For his career, he has recorded 2,606 hits.
