Report: Steve Nash bothered by nerve irritation

Steve Nash says he's likely to remain sidelined for at least another two weeks, but the point guard is expected to return to the Lakers lineup before the end of December, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Citing unnamed sources, the Yahoo! report states that nerve irritation in Nash's left leg is actually what's keeping him off of the floor right now after he was almost ready to return from the non-displaced fracture in his left fibula weeks ago. The 38-year-old has been out of the lineup since suffering the injury in the second game of the season on November 1 against the Trail Blazers, when he collided with Blazers rookie Damian Lillard.
The Lakers have struggled out of the gates this season, currently sitting at 9-12 and tied for 11th in the Western Conference standings.
