The health of New York Yankees first baseman Mark Teixeira has hampered the team all season, but perhaps there's light at the end of the tunnel?
The news is very encouraging as Teixeira's latest setback with his right wrist seemed almost destined to land him on the disabled list. The Yankees are so frustrated with his wonky wrist, they've even reportedly started exploring other options at first base by reaching out to free-agent Kendrys Morales.
Teixeira is a proven run producer and fantasy option when in the lineup, however, driving in 25 runs in 37 games.
