Report: NHL players, owners didn't meet before BOG meetings

The NHL owners and players were expected to meet this morning, before the Board of Governors meetings, but the players decided to wait until that meeting was over, according to Nick Cotsonika of Yahoo1 Sports.

18 players, including Sidney Crosby and six owners meet well into the night yesterday, with both sides encouraged with the talks.
