Report: Mets "serious" about trading Dickey

The New York Mets are "serious" about trading CY Young Award winner R.A. Dickey, according to Jayson Stark.

The Mets and Dickey have been going back and forth over the last few weeks on a contract extension, but have been unable to come to terms. Dickey is reportedly looking for a multi-year extension worth over $30 million.

Last season, the right-handed knuckeballer went 20-6 with a 2.73 ERA in 33 starts.
