Braves' La Stella lifted in 2nd inning with apparent hamstring injury

Atlanta Braves second baseman Tommy La Stella was removed from Monday's contest against the Los Angeles Dodgers after suffering an apparent hamstring injury, according to MLB.com's Mark Bowman.

The 25-year-old rookie has been one of Atlanta's hottest hitters of late, managing an impressive .300/.378/.383 line with eight extra-base hits over his last 32 contests.

Despite leaving Monday's contest against the Los Angeles Dodgers with a hamstring cramp, Atlanta Braves second baseman Tommy La Stella expects to be in the lineup Tuesday, according to MLB.com's Mark Bowman.

The 25-year-old was replaced by Ramiro Pena in the second inning after experiencing discomfort in his upper right hamstring. La Stella grounded out to second base in his lone at-bat Monday, and is hitting .284 with with 13 doubles through 66 games this season.
