Report: Napoli holding out for fourth year

According to a tweet from ESPNs Jim Bowden, free agent catcher Mike Napoli is currently holding out from signing a contract until he is offered a fourth year guaranteed. It is rumoured that the Boston Red Sox or Seattle Mariners are willing to offer Napoli a contract but Napoli is reportedly not interested unless a fourth year is involved.

Napoli has had his named linked to the Mariners, Yankees and Red Sox. Last season, Napoli hit .227 to go along with 24 home runs, and 56 RBIs.
