Tigers front runners for Torii Hunter

The Detroit Tigers are the front runner to acquire the services of Torii Hunter, according to Jim Bowden of ESPN.
The 36 year old free agent outfielder is said to be looking for a two year contract with whatever team gives him the best chance to win a World Series. He has also been linked to the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Last season with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Hunter hit .313 with an .817 OPS. He had 16 home runs and 92 RBIs in 584 plate appearances.
