Report: Red Sox interested in Mike Napoli

The Boston Red Sox have expressed interest in Mike Napoli for first base, according to Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe.
Napoli played in 108 games for Texas last season, hitting .227 with 24 home runs and 56 RBI. He was limited late in the season due to injuries.
The Red Sox are searching for a first baseman after dealing Adrian Gonzalez to the Dodgers in August. James Loney, who was acquired in the deal from L.A. is currently a free agent.
