Red Sox re-sign Ortiz to 2-year deal

David Ortiz has reportedly signed a two-year deal worth $26 million to remain with the Boston Red Sox, according to multiple sources.

Ortiz, 36, could see the contract climb to $30 million with incentives. The 16-year veteran batted .318 with 23 home runs 60 RBI in 90 games with the Red Sox last season.

Ortiz has hit 401 career home runs while adding 1326 RBI and a .285 batting average.
