The Toronto Raptors and forward DeMar DeRozan are making progress on a four-year extension, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. Tonight is the deadline for him to sign an extension under the new CBA. If the two sides fail to reach an agreement, DeRozan will become a restricted free agent next summer.

DeRozan is in his third year with the Raptors after being drafted in the first round (9th overall) in the 2009 draft. He has averaged 14.1 points per game in 222 career games in Toronto.
