Report: A-Rod would consider trade to big market

New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez is telling "close friends" he would consider a trade to another big market team, according to Bob Nightengale of USA Today.
Rodriguez, who recorded a .272/.353/.430 line this season with 18 home runs, has been slumping to say the least this postseason, going 0 for 18 with 12 strikeouts against right-handed pitching. Manager Joe Girardi has benched the 14-time All-Star for three of the Yankees nine postseason games.
The Miami Marlins, Chicago White Sox, Los Angeles Dodgers and Los Angeles Angels have been four teams mentioned as possible destinations.
