Sandusky sentenced to 30-60 years

Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky has been sentenced to 30-60 years in prison, according to multiple reports.
He proclaimed his innocence on October 8, one day prior to the sentencing.
"They could take away my life, they could make me out as a monster, they could treat me as a monster, but they can't take away my heart," Sandusky said. "In my heart, I know I did not do these alleged disgusting acts."
The sentence is tied to sex abuse charges laid in 2011 for multiple assualts on underage boys while Sandusky was a member of the Nittany Lions coaching staff.
