Dwight Freeney ruled out for Sunday, could be out longer

Indianapolis Colts defensive end/linebacker Dwight Freeney has been ruled out of Sunday's game versus the Minnesota Vikings with an ankle injury.

According to ESPN's John Clayton, the seven-time Pro Bowler has a high ankle sprain and is probably out longer than this week. Freeney suffered the injury in the first quarter of the Colts' loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 1.
