Titans ink CB McCourty to a 5-year, $43M extension

The Tennessee Titans have signed cornerback Jason McCourty to a 5-year, $43 million extension through 2017 with $20 million in guarantees.

McCourty has started 24 games in his 3-year career, recording a total of 4 interceptions as the team’s shutdown corner. The 25-year-old was drafted by the Titans out of Rutgers in the 6th round of the 2009 draft.
