Report: Jones-Drew open to being traded

Jaguars running back Maurice Jones-Drew is open to the idea of being traded, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The reigning NFL rushing champion has held out of training camp in the hopes of renegotiating a new contract. Jones- Drew has 2 years and $9 million remaining on a 5-year, $31 million contract that was signed in 2009. 

Earlier Tuesday, Jaguars owner Shahid Khan responded to Jones-Drew’s lengthy holdout by saying that the “train is leaving the station. Run, get on it:”
