Predators sign Fisher to two-year extension
The Nashville Predators have signed centre Mike Fisher to a two-year extension worth $8.4 million.
The Peterborough, Ontario native has played the last two seasons in Nashville, after spending the first eleven seasons of his career with the Ottawa Senators.
After struggling with shoulder injuries, Fisher appeared in just 27 games in his first season with the Predators, recording only 12 points.
Fisher bounced back last season, recording the second highest point total of his career, with 51 points in 72 games.
