Astros fire Brad Mills

The Houston Astros have fired manager Brad Mills, Major League Baseball's official twitter feed reported on Saturday.

At 39-82, the Astros currently boast the worst record in the Majors. The team also finished with the worst record in baseball last season.

In two-plus seasons as the Astros' manager, Mills guided the team to a dismal 171-274 record, or .384 winning percentage.

The team also fired coaches Mike Barnett and Bobby Meacham.
