Bryant signs with the Bengals

Antonio Bryant, who is high on the list of free agent wide receivers, has been signed by the Cincinnati Bengals, according to ESPN.

Bryant signed a four-year deal worth $28 million. The signing was confirmed by Bryant's agent, who spoke to ESPN.

Reports circulating Tuesday night indicated the Bengals may be in talks with veteran receiver Terrell Owens, who is also a free agent after spending one year with the Buffalo Bills. However, ESPN writes that Owens was not given a contract offer by Cincinnati.

The 29-year-old Bryant spent the last two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, hauling in 39 receptions for 600 yards and four touchdowns last season.

Drafted early in the second-round of the 2002 NFL entry draft by the Dallas Cowboys, Bryant has 5,658 receiving yards over seven seasons.
