Report: Phillies' Lee claimed off waivers by Dodgers
According to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Cliff Lee was claimed off waivers on Friday.
The Los Angeles Dodgers were awarded the the claiming rights on Lee, according to Fox Sports.
Lee, 33, was placed on waivers by the Phillies on Thursday. Lee's remaining deal is $75 million over the next three years. Lee also has a no-trade clause, in which he can block a trade to 21 teams.
The Phillies could pull Lee back from waivers, or they could choose to work out a trade with Los Angeles.
Lee is 2-6 with a 3.73 ERA in 18 starts this season.
