Magic, Mavs visit to talk Howard trade

Dallas Mavericks general manager Donnie Nelson and Orlando Magic general manager Rob Hennigan met last week to discuss a Dwight Howard trade.
The two sides "will probably talk again," Nelson told Fox Sports Southwest. Meanwhile, the Magic's efforts to please their All-Star centre have been unsuccessful. Howard recently reiterated to Magic management that he has no intentions of re-signing with the team that drafted him.
While Howard's trade wish list does include the Mavericks, the two sides are reluctant to make a deal that is not in the best interest of both teams.
"There's just not much there," Nelson said regarding the pieces for a Howard deal.
Howard is under contract for the 2012-13 season at just under $20 million. He will be an unrestricted free agent following the season.
