Report: Knicks acquire Raymond Felton and Kurt Thomas

According to a tweet from Knicks beat writer Frank Isola, the New York Knicks have sent Jared Jeffries and Dan Gadzuric to the Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Raymond Felton and Kurt Thomas.

The Knicks will also send a 2016 second round draft pick to the Blazers while the Blazers will ship the rights to two players who are currently playing in Europe back to New York.

Felton spent his best season in New York, averaging 11.6 points, 6.5 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game in the 2010-2011 season.

The move gives the Knicks some flexibility at the point guard position after the Houston Rockets offered Jeremy Lin an offer sheet.
