Report: Rick Nash submits list of trade partners

Power forward Rick Nash has submitted a list of six teams he is willing to be traded to, according to a report in the Columbus Dispatch.

The list includes the Boston Bruins, New York Rangers, Detroit Red Wings, Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins and San Jose Sharks. Nash, a native of Brampton Ontario, did not include any Canadian teams on his list. The Blue Jackets are currently attempting to accomodate Nash's request. Since he has a no-trade clause in his contract, Nash holds the right to name his new destination.

Nash was rumoured to have requested a trade early in the 2011-2012 season, but Columbus could not find a suitable deal. The 28-year old had 30 goals and 29 assists for the Blue Jackets last season. He has career-highs of 41 goals and 79 points during his 9-year career.
