Rockets to sign C Asik

The Houston Rockets will sign restricted free agent centre Omer Asik, according to the Chicago Tribune. 

The proposed deal is a 3-year, $25.1 million contract that would take place when the free agent moratorium ends on July 11th. The Chicago Bulls will have 3 days to negotiate a matching offer. 

Asik averaged 3.1 PPG and 5.3 RPG in 66 games this past season with the Bulls.
