Report: Griffin to sign extension with Clippers
Blake Griffin will reportedly sign a five-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Clippers according to ESPN.
Griffin cannot sign an extension until July 11, but has let the team know he intends to sign. The deal could be worth as much as $95 million.
Griffin is a two-time All-Star and the 2011 NBA rookie of the year. He played all 66 games for the Clippers last year, averaging 20.7 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. In 11 post-season games for Los Angeles his numbers dipped to 19.1 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.
