Predators re-sign Paul Gaustad
The Nashville Predators have re-signed Paul Gaustad to a four-year, $13 million contract.
The 30-year-old centre scored seven goals and added 14 assists last season as he split time between the Predators and Buffalo Sabres.
Gaustad was acquired by Nashville along with a fourth-round pick on February 27, 2012 in exchange for a first-round pick in the 2012 draft. That pick was later traded to the Flames which they used to select Mark Jankowski.
Gaustad appeared in 10 games for the Predators during the 2012 NHL playoffs, scoring one goal and picking up one assist.
