Report: Celtics re-sign Garnett to 3-year contract

According to a tweet from Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports, the Boston Celtics have re-signed power forward Kevin Garnett to a 3-year deal worth $34 million.

In 60 games last season with the Celtics, Garnett averaged 15.8 points per game to and 8.2 rebounds per game.

The 36 year-old has spent the last five seasons with the Celtics and was part of their 2008 NBA Championship win over the Los Angeles Lakers.
