Report: Martin Brodeur to test free agent market

UPDATE: A source for Renaud Lavoie of RDS reports Brodeur could be a fit for the Lightning or Panthers.
According to a tweet from New Jersey Devils beat reporter Tom Gulitti, New Jersey Devils goalie Martin Brodeur is very likely to test the free agent market. Brodeur has hired Pat Brisson to represent him.
Brodeur helped lead the New Jersey Devils to the Stanley Cup Finals, where they lost to the Kings in 6 games.
The 40-year old compiled a 31-21-4 record with a 2.41 GAA and 3 shutouts.
According to a tweet from TSN's Darren Dreger, the deal should have been done a long time ago.
