Report: Larry Bird to step down as Pacers President

Indiana Pacers President Larry Bird has decided to call it quits and not return for another year, according to the Indianapolis Star.
Citing health issues as the reason, the 55-year-old is reportedly "100 percent sure" he won't return next season. Bird is expected to meet with team owner Herb Simon on Tuesday to finalize his departure.
Former Pacers CEO Donnie Walsh is expected to return to the team in some capacity. Walsh could be taking over for Bird as the team's new President.
The Pacers finished the 2011-12 season in third place in the Eastern Conference, with a 42-24 record.
