Tim Thomas waives no-movement clause

Bruins GM Peter Chiarelli told Joe Haggerty of Comcast New England that goaltender Tim Thomas has agreed to waive his no-movement clause prior to its expiration on July 1st.
Although the former Vezina Trophy winner stated earlier this month that he has no plans to play in the NHL next season, he would be a valuable acquisition to any team in need of reaching the salary cap floor, which is projected to be in the range of over $54 million.
