Report: Sharks ink Brad Stuart to 3-year, $10.6 M deal

The San Jose Sharks have signed defenceman Brad Stuart to a 3-year contract worth $10.6 million, according to TSN.

The rights for the potential unrestricted free agent were acquired from the Red Wings last Sunday in exchange for centre Andrew Murray and a conditional pick in the 2014 draft. 

In 81 games for Detroit last season, the 13-year veteran tallied 6 goals, 15 assists along with a plus-16 rating.
