Report: Suter prefers to stay in West

Nashville Predators defenceman Ryan Suter, who is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent, has a list of teams he would be willing to talk to if his rights are traded before July 1st, according to Tim Panaccio of CSN Philly.
The 27-year old will likely be the most coveted defencemen in the UFA market if the Predators fail to re-sign him. Nashville general manager David Poile could also opt to trade the rights to negotiate with Suter. Reportedly, the Philadelphia Flyers are not on Suter's list of potential suitors, nor is any team from the Eastern Conference. The Detroit Red Wings are thought to be on the top of his list.
The Wisconsin native, who made $3.5 million this past season, has registered more than 30 points in each of the last five seasons with the Predators.
