Manny Pacquiao loses controversial decision to Bradley

Manny Pacquiao saw his 15 fight winning streak come to an end on Saturday night as he lost a split decision to Timothy Bradley for the WBO welterweight belt.

Bradley won two scorecards by a 115-113 margin while Pacquiao won by the same score on a third.

The decision was met with a chorus of boos at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, as it appeared as though Pacquiao landed more clean punches. Fight statistics showed that Pacquiao landed more punches at a higher percentage, including a higher amount of power punches, but Bradley fought well enough to earn more points on the scorecards of judges.

The loss was Pacquiao's first since March 19, 2005 when he lost to Erik Morales for the WBC International Super Featherweight belt.
