Tim Duncan: "I'm a Spur for life"

One game up in the Western Conference Finals, pending free agent Tim Duncan knows where he will be next season. Duncan plans to re-sign with the San Antonio Spurs in the offseason, the power forward told Yahoo! Sports.

"Though I shouldn't say that; I have to threaten them that I'll leave," Duncan joked. "No... I'm not going anywhere. You can print that wherever you want to. I'm here and I'm a Spur for life."

Originally drafted by the Spurs with the first overall selection in the 1997 NBA Draft, Duncan has spent his entire 15-year career with San Antonio. With four NBA Championships under his belt, and just three wins away from another trip to the Finals, Duncan has no plans of parting ways with the team that he has had so much success with.

The 36-year-old averaged 15.4 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in 58 games this season.
