Report: Semin will not re-sign with Capitals

Capitals right-winger Alexander Semin will test the free agent market this summer, according to his agent, Mark Gandler. Gandler said Semin, who is set to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st, has no intention of re-signing with Washington, according to ESPN.

Semin scored 21 goals and added 33 assists in 77 games this season.  The winger earned $6.7 million in 2011-2012 on a Capitals team that had the second highest payroll in the NHL.
