Red Wings' Datsyuk sidelined at least two weeks

The Detroit Red Wings will be without centre Pavel Datsyuk for a minimum of two weeks while he recovers from a minor knee surgery, according to multiple reports.

There is no word on what prompted the 33-year-old to have his knee looked at, but the Red Wings will hope that the two weeks he is slated to miss is all he misses. Datsyuk currently leads the Red Wings in points with 59 (16 goals, 43 assists) and ranks ninth in the league in scoring.

The Red Wings, who visit the Chicago Blackhawks Tuesday night, have won six straight games overall and 23 straight home games.
