GLS: Manning not able to throw to his left

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning is apparently not his old self. The 35-year-old QB, who has been cleared to resume football, is not able to throw the ball across his body to the left, Mike Lombardi said on the BS Report.

Still recovering from multiple neck surgeries, Manning lacks velocity and can't throw to his left, according to receivers catching his passes as he attempts to get back into game-shape.

Manning's future is uncertain as he still is unsure of where, or if, he will be playing in 2012. The Colts have until March 8 to determine his future. The former Super Bowl champion is owed a $28 million roster bonus and there is no guarantee that the Colts will pay it.

Lombardi remained skeptical on any team targeting Manning as their future quarterback. Manning last played in the 2010 season, throwing a career-high 4,700 yards, adding 33 touchdowns to his 17 interceptions.
