Alfredsson likely to return for another season

Ottawa Senators right wing Daniel Alfredsson is leaning toward returning for another season.

In an interview on Gary Bettman's Sirius XM radio show via the Ottawa Citizen, Alfredsson said, "The way this season is going, if I’m still healthy after this season, I’m hoping I can go one more,  This year has been so good. If we can make the playoffs, that would almost be a dream come true."

The Senators are 6th in the eastern conference with 60 points while the 39-year-old captain sits third on the team with 38 points in 46 games
