'Johnny Cam' to follow Manziel on Saturday
Lights, camera, Manziel.
Johnny Manziel is the biggest name in college football right now and CBS sports is going to make sure America doesn't miss a breath he takes this Saturday.
The network is set to unveil "Johnny Cam," an extra camera that will focus on every move made by the reigning Heisman Trophy winner, coordinating producer Craig Silver told SI's Richard Deitsch.
"No matter where he is and no matter what part of the game it is, we will have a shot of it," said Craig Silver, the coordinating producer of college football for CBS Sports. "If he is anywhere in sight of that camera, we will catch it."
Saturday's match-up is the early candidate for Game of the Year, as the charismatic and controversial Manziel's sixth ranked Texas A&M Aggies host the unanimous number one ranked Alabama.
Silver went out of his way to mention that they will not turn the show into "Manziel Mania" for three hours, but if Johnny Football starts signing imaginary autographs again it's a safe bet it will make the broadcast.
